Palm is really pushing this Synergy thing and for good reason – the way WebOS apps seem to integrate with the cloud in a smooth, enjoyable and productive fashion is unmatched. I mean the iPhone can’t even run apps in the background while in this video we see the use of Fandanago with Google Talk, AIM and Calendar all while you could be listening to music via Pandora behind it all.

Will it work like this in real life? That remains to be seen, especially since Palm still isn’t letting people use the Pre on their own but instead is having their booth employees demonstrate it while you keep your hands firmly at your side as if lining up for recess in the 2nd grade.

I’d also like to see someone with a less soothing voice do the voice over, just for comedic effect. How about one of the Seinfeld cast members? That, to me, would not only be absolutely hilarious but would spark more buzz than we’ve seen in a LONG TIME from the Pre… January?
