I’m surprised that the blogger behind InsideSprintNow is continuing his barrage of leaks, rumors and info – especially considering that Sprint employees are being fired for revealing details. But the nameless blogger keeps pumping out the goods, this time exposing all of the service plans available for the Palm Pre.

Here are the 3 things you need to know:

  1. The yellow bar is the column is the “Monthly Recurring Charge” – the price you’ll pay for the plan.
  2. Note the “Simply Everything Plan” listed in the black horizontal bar with purple text. This is the plan that will get you unlimited voice, data and messaging and if you want to take full advantage of the Palm Pre, this is the plan you’ll probably want.
  3. All the columns to the RIGHT of the yellow column show the price with various discounts. Note that the Simply Everything Plans DO NOT have discounts available. Not surprising considering Palm/Sprint want to sell them at a Pre-mium.

Just an FYI, if you DON’T get a Simply Everything Plan it is pretty easy to get a discount:

anyone can qualify for the credit union member NVP discount automatically, which is a 10% discount no questions asked – but you can of course qualify for much more, by having a different employer’s discount – Not that I advocate being dishonest about your employer for discount purposes, but a LOT of companies do business with Sprint/Nextel, so many people are very surprised to know they already qualify for 15%, 20%, 25%, or 27% already.

Personally, I’d prefer unlimited everything over a discount, especially considering how much you’ll be playing with the Pre when it first launches!

The Everything Data plans, which have discounts, are all you really need to fully enjoy the Pre… as long as you don’t gab too much.

I have the Everything Data Shared 3000 at 25% discount, so I’m saving over $40 a month. Not too bad.
