When the Palm Pre launches on June 6th it will have 6 “Officially” supported accessories. I thought I’d take a minute to briefly go over each of them and hear your feedback on each:

Palm Touchstone Charging Dock Bundle with Battery Door

This is the premium Palm Pre accessory and has the “cool” factor that will surely lure a great number of buyers. But at the $70 price point when you’re already paying a bundle for the phone and service, will you fork over the necessary moolah?

Palm Pre Vehicle Charger

From my own personal experience I HAVE to have a vehicle charger for every phone I have. With all the apps running in the background and with all the apps I intend to download, I hope you can understand why this would be a MUST BUY for me – how about you?

Palm Pre Premium Holster

We first leaked the Premium Holster in April and this is another purchase depending on lifestyle and preference. I’m not a holster type of guy. Some people are just holster lovers. While I’ve never been tempted to try a holster after initially hating them in general… the Premium Holster for the Pre is really enticing. I might give it a spin for only $25 – thoughts?

Palm Pre Travel Charger

Again… I need my chargers. I’m buying this – can’t have enough charging options if you ask me! Now I’ll ask you…

Palm Pre Leather Pouch

Not my style… I need immediate access and sure my device might get a few scratches, but sooner or later I’ll smarten up and get some kind of Palm Pre armor… unless I can take enough care of it so it never gets that first terrible scratch. Hmmm.

Palm Pre Covers

I can definitely see myself getting a Palm Pre Case or Cover, but there are a bunch of great 3rd party alternatives so I’m not sure I’d get the “official” product offered by Palm/Sprint. I guess we’ll have to test them all out and let you know which one is best, eh? Or do you have a preference already?

The Pre lacks a micro/SD card and comes only in 8GB, I think a great idea for an accessory is some sort of small memory expansion that plugs into the mini USB port. I wouldn’t mind 1cm wider for an extra 8GB of swappable memory.
