Quick Palm Pre Review By Om Malik

Last week the first real “review” of the Palm Pre came out courtesy of BGR. Today comes the 2nd, which is more of a quick “first-take” hands on then anything else, and it essentially echoes what the Boy Genius Report claimed:
- Feels plasticky
- Nice Screen
- Good size/shape and feel in hand/pocket
- Keyboard is flimsy and cluttered
I still maintain my position that the Palm Pre and T-Mobile G1 are walking a parallel line – the first DEVICE will not be a game changer but it is the first step towards building a game changing platform – WebOS. And you’re at the #1 place for everything Palm WebOS so get comfy… we’ve got a long exciting road ahead of us that is just STARTING with the Palm Pre.

Is Palm webos compatible and does it sync with the Palm Desktop directly? I am not interested in going to any other PIM or Outlook. I’ve been a Palm user for many years and am comfortable with Palm Desktop software, so until you have a new phone that is compatible with this software, I will remain with my old Centro, thank you very much.
