Kazza offers seemingly useless services with a large monthly price tag

Bandwidth eaters such as streaming and downloading video and movies can be a major headache for mobile providers because it costs them a lot of money. Those of us who remember the peer-to-peer sharing site Kazaa understand just how much bandwidth can be used sharing files.

Kazaa is now offering a service that allows Pre users to upload and share HD videos as well as photos, documents and many other filetypes with the whole Kazaa community. I must be missing something but without the ability to record video in HD on the Pre is seems pretty far fetched to upload from your handset rather than just using your computer.
It turns out that the Pre is the first device to handle full HD movies straight from Kazaa. Here is the catch, as of right now the service only supports the Pre while connected to a PC, not by itself which eliminates the need for the service altogether. Needless to say we won’t be shelling out $19.98 a month to go out of the way to share files from our already battery deprived phone when our PC is right there.
