Soon after we get the date of September 8^th for the release of webOS version 1.2 there is much talk about the update getting pushed back to the end of the month which obviously has been done.

Palm representatives are quoted as saying that is has been pushed back to “later this month” while an Official Sprint forums moderator is saying its “been delayed” and that it won’t be long. There is much speculation as to why this change in release date has been made. One of the better more believable theory’s floating around is the announcement of iTunes 9 and squeezing in a sync fix right at the last moment. We believe that many of us would wait a few more days for the native ability to sync with iTunes rather than to find a workaround.
