We remember when Best Buy made the mistake of lowering the price on the Palm Pre, now Sprint has lowered the price but this time it is no mistake. Sprint has dropped the price of the Pre from $199 after mail-in rebate to just $150 after instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate.

We were expecting a price drop shortly after the announcement of the Palm Pixi but where does this leave the pricing for the Pixi? We all know that when it comes down to technical specification the Pixi is worth less than the Pre regardless of the release date. If the Pixi is indeed more expensive than the Pre it is a clear which decision most will make.
