Third part retailers can be a godsend when you want a mobile phone but don’t exactly have hundreds out of pocket to throw down. Now Wirefly.com is selling the Palm Pre for just $99 with a 2 year service agreement of course.

The savings here are huge because the base retail price is marked at $799! This is just an insane amount considering existing customers can get the pre for just $550 currently. There is however the risk involved with purchasing phones from a third party retailer, especially over the internet.

When it comes down to it how much is the now $50 savings over buying straight from Sprint worth it? Personally is I was scraping for change I would go with Wirefly.com but provided I had the extra money laying around I would go with Sprint to be on the safe side.
