We all heard that the reason Palm pushed back the release of the new webOS 1.2 was to fix the iTunes syncing support, now that we have our hands on it we can say without a doubt that this was not the case, the new version of iTunes does not sync with the Palm Pre.

With that said what was the holdup on Palm’s end? The actual release date of webOS version 1.2 was on the 28^th, that’s 4 whole days after the rumored release date. Could it be that Palm was just trying to prove us wrong or make us anticipate this release even more? If you have any theories please let us know in the comments.
