Canadian Pre carrier Bell Mobility has already gone and dropped the price of the Palm Pre to $149.99 with 3-year agreement. Bell got the Pre on August 27^th so it has been roughly 3 months since the release but this is still too soon for such a phone to drop in price.

This was foreseeable though as Sprint dropped the price in roughly the same amount of time. Many smartphones are out for 6 to 9 months before the price takes a dip at all. Lets hope this price cut is nothing more than to prepare for the nearing launch of the Palm Pixi. We already know the Pre is not doing as well as projected.
